Mr. Wake has been quite for a while aside from the occasional DLC. This week however we were given an announcement trailer for Alan Wake: American Nightmare, a brand new download-only title. It’s now a few days since the announcement and we’ve been given some more Alan Wake news, this time it concerns PC gamers

The game was originally built as a PC exclusive, later becoming a PC/360 title and finally announced as a 360 exclusive during its development period, upsetting PC gamers everywhere. Now they finally have the chance to experience the game (unless they already had a 360), the game will be available on Steam and will include both DLC expansions.

The game is set for release on PC in Q1, 2012.
